Surviving Children: Ron Hall, Lorinda Lynch (Jim), Mary Ann Russell (Paul), Christine Fleming (Steve), Kathleen Krones (Mark), Debra Ludwig (Curt) 20 Grandchildren 24 Great-Grandchildren. Predeceased by Francis Hall, Robert G. Anderson, Robert Hall(Jolene), and Krystal Hall(Ron). Marlette lived in Loves Park, Illinois until she moved to New Mexico to live with her daughter, Lorinda and husband Jim Lynch. Marlette was loved by all the people who ever entered her life. She was fondly called “mom” by many. She was athletic and visited the dugout and baseball field of the Rockford Peaches as a young teenager. Little babies and children were drawn to her because of her energy she showed to them. She was playful, nonjudgmental, a hardworking woman widowed at 34 years old, a friend to all she met. She made each grandchild feel that they were “the special one”. She loved to go for rides, coffee and graham crackers with butter. She loved the Lord and hymns. Marlette was extremely proud of her Swedish heritage. Her caregiver Toni became her very special friend. Marlette helped Toni through her difficult time and they created a very special bond.
A celebration of Marlette's life will be held on August 29, 2026, at 1:30pm, at The Venetian Club: 2180 Elmwood Rd, Rockford, IL 61103.

Sympathy to the entire family. So many memories over the years! I especially enjoyed seeing her at Parker Early Education Center in more recent years. And so thankful I was able to see her in Albuquerque last year. To a life well lived….peace and hugs to all. 🕊️💕

Oh goodness, I am so sad to hear of Marlettes passing. I enjoyed the casino with her years ago. And the conversations in the car. She was so fun to be with. My heartfelt condolences to all of the family.
