Jeffrey William Ford

June 19, 1959 -- July 16, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey William Ford age 67 of Alto, New Mexico on July 16, 2026.  Born on June 19, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to John Peter Ford and Rosemary Douglas Ford, he was the youngest of their four children.  Jeff was a graduate of St. Pius X High School class of 1977 and NMSU in Las Cruces graduating with a bachelors degree in marketing class of 1984.  He went on to build his career in pharmaceutical sales working for Hoffman La Roche, Johnson and Johnson and Astellas.  He has been happily retired since 2014.

In 1986, he married the love of his life Elizabeth Erickson Ford.  For nearly 40 years they lived a life of love, family and adventure.  He was an incredible father to Carlene Marie who will always remember him as a positive role model and her greatest supporter.  One of his greatest joys was being called ‘Papa’ by his three grandchildren along with his most recent great grandchild.

Beyond his family and career Jeff was passionate about golf.  If you didn’t know where he was, look no further than the nearest golf course.  Playing since high school, his love for the game only grew with time.  Striving to perfect his game was something he constantly pursued.  When he retired, he was able to spend more time at Alto Lakes Golf and Country Club where he and Liz have been members since 2001.  They moved there full time in April of 2026.

Jeff also had a strong faith in Jesus.  He knew his hope was found in his relationship with Him and the security of knowing that death is not the end but only the beginning.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Peter Ford and his mother Rosemary Douglas Ford.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth, his daughter, Carlene Marie, his cherished grandchildren, Landon James Moran, Taya Elizabeth Moran and Kiley Grace Moran along with his great grandson, Oliver James Moran all of which he was so proud of. Jeff is also survived by his sister, Colleen Meseroll,  and brothers Dan Ford and Jerry Ford and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held August 9th at 10:00 am at Alto Lakes Golf and Country Club in Alto, New Mexico, the placed he loved to be.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Wounded Warriors and Samaritan’s Purse, two organizations he cared deeply about.

Condolences

Joseph Crepeau July 22, 2026

I am deeply sorry to hear about Jeff's passing. I grew up with Jeff in Albuquerque. Our family lived across the street from his. We went to school together from 1st through 12th grade at Holy Ghost and St. Pius. I lost touch after high school but got to catch up with him at the reunions. The last one was the 40th. Please accept my condolences. I am happy to know that he still had a relationship with Jesus. May God bless you and your family and help you through this difficult time.
