Jason Daniel Leonard
Jason Daniel Leonard, 50, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2026, in Santa Rosa, NM while enjoying some free time with a friend. Jason was born in Albuquerque on February 24, 1976, to Cheryl Liccione-Doody and the late, David Leonard.
Jason was the "go to" guy. If you needed something done, built, fixed or repaired, he would be there. He always had a hand to share. He loved family, playing drums, guitar, and going to the mountains. His special love was his Harley Davidson soft tail.
Jason was a loving father, son, and grandson. He is survived by his daughter Maddison Leonard, Mother Cheryl Liccione-Doody and stepfather William Doody, Grandmother Diane Benedetto, brother Paul Leonard, and nephews Colten Leonard and Jesse Leonard. His Uncles/Aunts include R. Alan and Chang Liccione, Glenn and Teri Benedetto, Todd and Cheryl Benedetto, Stuart McBride, Craig and Christine Benedetto. Cousins include Robert and wife Laura Liccione, Leann Liccione, Chad Benedetto, Ryan and wife Nicole Benedetto, husband David and Melanie Shapiro, Julianna Benedetto, Jenelle Benedetto, Nic Benedetto, Travis and wife Jessica McBride, Cody and spouse Marcus McBride, Hannah McBride, Breanne Garrelts, Nicole Benedetto, Kaitlynn Benedetto, C.W. (Chip) Leonard IV, Tracy Leonard, Deb Schmidt and Richard Cruze. Along with the family, Jason’s best friends Ryan Tatum and Vanessa Rockwood mourn his loss.
